The first time you try to access the Planning Center API, you will be redirected to a permission screen from Planning Center. Events2HVAC is requesting permission to access the resources API. Planning Center APIs use Oauth2 to authenticate users and applications.
You must have a modern browser installed on the Events2HVAC server and internet access to perform OAuth2 token exchange.
A User of your Planning Center site must login to Planning Center and select the “Allow” button to give Events2HVAC permission to operate. Events2HVAC will only ask for access of the Resources Api.
Note: It is recommended to create a specific “user” account for Events2HVAC so that the software becomes disconnected when a user is removed from Planning Center (e.g. fired employee).
