Avigilon Alta Service Account User Setup

It is recommended that you create a separate user account just for the integration.

1.  Create a new user and deselect  “Portal Access.”

Note:  Only users with “Super Admin” role will get notified by email automatically after the user is created.  For a non-admin account, you will need to reset the password using Step 4 below.

2.  On the Access tab, select which sites and zones the account will have access to.

3.    Optionally, give the user a specific role and/or access groups with required permissions.

4.  Set the new user password.

Log out of the Avigilon Alta control center, and at the login screen, click the “Forgot Password” link:

Enter the email address of the service user:

When you get the email, click on the link to set a new password.

Once you have set a new password, your new Avigilon Alta user is ready for Events2HVAC.
