You’ll need to create applets for both occupied and unoccupied commands from your Events2HVAC zones and command the device service in IFTTT to turn on or off.
1. Create
a new applet.
2. Select
the webhook service as the trigger.
3. Select
the “Receive a web request” trigger
4. Enter
the event name for the Events2HVAC action you are using and create the
trigger.
5. Add an
action and select the service you want to connect with. For this example
I’m using a Hubitat z-wave light as the device to turn on and off.
6. Select
the action to use. Each set of actions vary depending on the service being
used.
7. Select
the device and create the action.
8. Modify the title of the applet so it makes sense.
