This tab defines the connection to the EMS database. There are three methods to connecting with the EMS software:
•SQL Direct - The preferred method is using a direct SQL server connection.
•EMS Web API - The EMS API allows third-party software to access the EMS data using web services (SOAP/XML) via the HTTP port 80 or HTTPS port 443. The web service API is an optional component of the EMS software and must be installed and setup separately with EMS.
•EMS Platform Services API - next generation API for hosted instances.
Please confer with EMS database administrator about the appropriate method and parameters for your connection. The three possible methods are described in more detail below.
