Error Codes

StandardFault Errors (Type=Kantech.SmartLinkSDK.StandardFault)

SMARTLINK_SECURITYRESTRICTED. Error Code = 42

This error indicates that the login user (operator) doesn’t have the necessary permissions for reading doors and operating doors.  Follow the steps in this manual to setup the minimum security permissions and workspace permissions.

SMARTLINK_COMPONENT_NOT_EXIST. Error Code = 45

This error can occur if the door ID that you are trying to read or write to does not exist.  Refresh your door list in Events2HVAC and re-select the door for the equipment action that is causing the error.

SMARTLINK_UNKNOWN_WEB_SDK_ID. Error Code = 62

This error can occur if too many operators are using the web interface.  The web interface comes with a fixed number of login tokens that allow concurrent connections.  You’ll need to log other users off so that a token is available or increase the number of available tokens.

Error in Logout., Type=Kantech.SmartLinkSDK.StandardFault

This error usually occurs when a logout command is sent for a session that does not exist or has been timed out already.

SmartLink Errors (Type=Kantech.SmartLinkSDK.SmartLinkException)

SMARTLINK_NO_SERVER_CONNECTION. Error Code = 13

This will occur if the SmartLink/SmartServer cannot connect to the Kantech Security Server or the server is shut off.

SMARTLINK_INVALID_LOGINNAME_OR_PASSWORD. Error Code = 34

This error occurs if the username or password that you are using to login is invalid.

SMARTLINK_REACH_MAXIMUM_CONNECTION. Error Code = 72

This error occurs if all of your available concurrent sessions are used.  To clear this error, a web user needs to logout to release a session.  If this error occurs frequently, then you should purchase additional concurrent web sessions for your Kantech system.
