Event Providers

In the Events2HVAC system, the event provider is the component that interfaces to a particular event reservations system that is used to book rooms in your facility. This component handles the specific requirements to access the event system and query the necessary reservation information so that Events2HVAC can schedule and send commands to the associated equipment for the scheduled rooms. This relationship is illustrated in the diagram below.

Typically, your facility will be using only one type of reservation system. However, if you have multiple types of reservation system in use across your campus, Events2HVAC Professional edition can query multiple system vendor types and instances of the same vendor for a single aggregated scheduling source.
