If your event import data will contain status information, you must enable event status in the setup options of the importer, and you must manually enter all of the event statuses that you want to filter events on. See Event Status Tab in the Setup Options.

No Statuses
If your data does not include status information and specifically a status for deleted or cancelled events, do not enable event statuses.
All events in the data will be considered confirmed events. Any data that was previously imported in a date range and later a re-import of data in the same date range does not include an event, that original event will be marked as deleted.
You must include all events for a date/time range when generating new event data for import, not just the events that changed!
