Event Timeline

The following time designators are used in ChMS event calendar:

Event Start Time

The date and time when the event begins.

Event End Time

The date and time when the event ends.

Rooms Needed By

This is a time value with the same date as the event start time.

Rooms Needed Until

This is a time value with the same date as the event end time.

Events2HVAC uses event triggers to initiate actions in the BAS/HVAC systems.  These triggers are dictated by the start and stop times for each event.

The following table shows the correspondence between the event calendar fields and Events2HVAC triggers:

*If NeededBy or NeededUntil fields are blank, then no setup or teardown time is created for the event rooms.
