The Events2HVAC application uses a SQL database to store its data. If you already have SQL or SQL Express loaded on the PC, you can skip this section. SQL Express is a free database from Microsoft. You can download the SQL express version from www.microsoft.com.

It is recommended that your IT department install and deploy your SQL Server database using your company’s own standards.
It is highly recommended that you install SQL Server Management Studio along with your SQL Express install in order to perform database operations like backup and restore.
