The options tab contains all of the necessary settings for logging into the P2000 system.
P2000 URL
Enter the URL of the P2000 server in the following
format:
http://<<p2000 IP address>>:<<p2000 XMLRPC
port address>>
The default P2000 port address is 41023. Verify the actual port setting on your system. See XMLRPC interface port in the P2000 reference section.
Note: The IP address of the Events2HVAC server and any clients that wants to talk to the P2000 system must be registered in the External IP section of the P2000 system. You will not be able to login if the IP address is not included.
User Name
Enter the user name to login to the
P2000 system. It is recommended that you name the user so it is clear that
Events2HVAC is sending the commands in audit trails.
Note: The user name used must be either a valid P2000 operator username or a valid P2000 cardholder name. A P2000 cardholder name must be in the same form as required by P2000 web access, where the username is a combined value of the first name and the last name separated by a period. For example: john.smith
Password
Enter the password to login to the P2000 system.
Password Encoding
Select the appropriate setting for the encoding method for sending the password to the P2000 system. This setting MUST match the P2000 password encoding system. See Password Mode in the P2000 reference section.
Default Partition Name
Enter the default partition name that you want all of your new action definitions to start with. Leave blank if your system is not partitioned.
Test Button
This button will attempt to login and communicate with the P2000 system. Note: If there are communication issues, there will be a timeout delay before any error message is shown.
