Prior to installation of the Net/X device interface and Events2HVAC, you should already have setup and completed the following steps for your NetworkThermostat UP32/RP32 IP or WIFI system:
1. Installed, wired, and commissioned all thermostats on the network.
2. Installed and setup your entire network using the NetX-IP Command Center software by NetworkThermostat. Verify all thermostats are communicating and communications are reliable. This file will be imported into Events2HVAC.
3. NetX Port Sharing is normally not needed if you use the web interface as your method of viewing the thermostats. If you use the PC software, NetX-IP Command Center, you may need to use install and setup the NetX Port Sharing software on a server and re-map your UP/RP thermostats in a new project file. See NetX Port Sharing section of the user manual. The NetX-IP Command Center software will not allow any other software to connect to the thermostats via the ASCII API port while it is online.
