Proxy

If your environment requires communicating through a proxy server, you can enter the proxy server information here.  This information is shared with other interfaces that may need a proxy connection.

Note:  As of this writing, only two interfaces can use the proxy server settings:  Ad Astra Event Provider and R25/25Live Event Provider.  All other communications to 3rd party systems will be through standard http/https channels.

Enable Proxy

Enable the proxy to allow settings to be used.  If the proxy is disabled, it is possible proxy can be manually configured via .NET config file settings.  This is not the recommended approach since manual configuration can lead to problems after each software update.

Proxy Address

Enter the URL of the proxy server.  (e.g. http://192.168.1.80:8080)

Bypass Local

This will bypass the proxy for local addresses

Use System Default

If checked, the proxy settings in Internet Explorer will be used if they are configured.

Use Default Credentials

Check this to use the logged in Windows user credentials for the proxy connection.

Domain Name

Enter the domain name to use for login. (Optional)

User Name

Enter the user name to connect to the proxy server (Optional)

Password

Enter the password to connect to the proxy server (Optional)

To test the proxy server, you will need to go to the interface settings (e.g. Ad Astra Options) and click on the “Test” button.
