In eSPACE, the event info contains the space(s) assigned to it. In E2H, we refer to spaces as “rooms”.
eSPACE does not allow you to specify buildings when you define your spaces. However, the space definition is hierarchal so that a space can have a parent space that could be considered a building. Because of this, Events2HVAC assumes that the root node of each space will be a building and any children of the root are scheduled spaces.
If the buildings assigned in Events2HVAC aren’t what you expect, you can always change the room groups in Events2HVAC so that they make sense.
If any rooms are changed, deleted, or added in eSPACE after you setup Events2HVAC, you will need to rebuild the room list in Events2HVAC so that the changes are seen.
