The following procedure outlines the P2000 steps required to setup your terminals for time zones and time zone override in preparation for Event2HVAC interface.
1. Create a time zone called “EMS Scheduled”. Set the time zone so it is active during the period you wish to make the room available for EMS to schedule. The example shown is Active from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm 7 days a week.
2. Add this time zone to all panels that do not currently have it by selecting “yes”.
3. Select
a terminal to modify and select the “Flags” tab. Check the box on the “Reader
Override Timezone Enable” and hit apply.
4. Select
the “Timezone” tab and change the “Override” to EMS Scheduled.
5. Select
a terminal to modify and select the “Flags” tab. Uncheck the box on the “Reader
Override Timezone Enable” and hit apply.
