The Venstar interface setup and configuration requires some steps performed on both the Venstar thermostat and the Events2HVAC interface.
Each thermostat you want to integrate with E2H has to be setup to use the local api. There is a thermostat mode setting that can be found in the owner’s manual for each thermostat model. Configure your thermostat to set Local API = ON.
Some thermostat models allow a screen lock PIN and/or basic authentication credentials. It is recommended to set each thermostat to the same pin and credentials if you are using that feature so that all thermostats can be managed with one credential via the api.
