System Requirements

To use Events2HVAC with Ecobee devices, all of the following must be provided:

•      One or more of the supported thermostats registered and available in an ecobee account.  Only one type of ecobee account, Smart (home) or EMS (commercial), is supported. You can’t combine thermostats from both types (e.g. ecobee3 and EMS si).

•      Reliable Internet access to the ecobee API website https://www.ecobee.com

•      Reliable wireless connections to your thermostats

•      Events2HVAC software installed on premise (See system requirements in the Events2HVAC installation section.)
