In order to track the effectiveness of Events2HVAC in reducing occupancy runtime you need to compare actual occupancy runtime to the zones’ baseline runtime (runtime prior to implementing Events2HVAC). You can enter weekly schedule data for your entire site, per building, or per equipment item.
The baseline schedules applied to zones will be used to determine the daily baseline occupancy so that it can be compared to actual calculated occupancy based on actual room schedules.
This page allows you to create baseline weekly schedules for various zones. Each baseline schedule can be defined as follows:
No Baseline
This indicates no schedules are in use and baseline schedules can be ignored.
Weekly Average
If you want to put in an average occupied hours per week instead of a daily schedule, enter the value. The daily data analytics will use this value divided by 7 to come up with the baseline occupancy per day.
Weekly Schedule
Enter the start and end time for each day to provide a more accurate daily baseline occupancy.
Each weekly schedule created can be assigned to a building group or an individual equipment item. You can also assign a schedule to be the default global schedule by checking the “Is Default” checkbox. This will be inherited to all buildings and equipment that do not have a schedule assigned in its hierarchy.
