Select Meeting Calendar or Event Calendar (depending on your event provider) from the Events menu to view a calendar of the events that are in the event provider.
The Event Calendar is read-only, as the data is collected from your event provider database. Refer to the help section for your specific event provider for more information.
When viewing the Event Calendar, you can filter the data several different ways. You can click on the Day, Week, or Month icons to view events for a specific day, week, or month, respectively. Or you can click on the Timeline icon to specify a specific start and end date for your view of the calendar.
The Data Source field allows you to select if you want to retrieve live data from the remote Event Provider source or view what was last retrieved in the local cache. Depending on the event provider, retrieving remote data may take several seconds to minutes depending on your date range. The control will default to local (cached).
There are also several event filters available. You can choose to view All Rooms scheduled in your event provider or only events that have assigned rooms in Events2HVAC by choosing By Assigned Rooms. Then you can group your event calendar data By Date or By Room. You can also filter the event calendar data to show Event Times Only, Reservation Times Only (event time plus setup and teardown time), or Split Up Setup/Teardown (to indicate the setup and teardown time separately from the event time).
Single Tab – Multiple Event Provider Calendar
If you have more than one event provider active (Professional edition) you can click on the common Event Calendar item in the menu.
The same event calendar will be shown with the addition of an event provider selection box. This allows you look at multiple systems without opening a separate tab for each calendar.
