Dual action triggers occur at the start and stop point of a
period of time in the event timeline. You can think of dual actions as
“two-state” commands; either the command will be start or stop. These
triggers will optimize the start/stop commands based on the aggregated event
schedules for the rooms assigned to equipment. They typically trigger the
same item at the beginning of the period and the end of the period. There are
two dual event action triggers defined:
Trigger Name |
Action Type |
Description |
|
Dual Action |
The action is triggered at the event start and again at the event stop. This is the entire event time. |
Event Setup/Teardown |
Dual Action |
The action is triggered at the event setup start time and again at the event teardown stop time. This is the entire reserved or booked time of the event. |
Note: Only dual action triggered actions will use any defined pre-start or post-stop times assigned to the equipment. Single action triggers will occur at the times defined in an event.
