Tags can be utilized in Planning Center Calendar to assign an “Event Type” to the event. In Events2HVAC, you can filter out certain event types from controlling HVAC in the space.
A typical use case for this is to create an event type = “Maintenance” and assign a room an event for “Remodeling” for a week. Normally, you wouldn’t want to run this space in occupied mode for this time. In Events2HVAC, you can filter out any events with “Maintenance” from scheduling the rooms.
To create Event Type tags, first create a Tag Group named “Event Type”. Next create tags in this tag group for all of your required event types, or just the event types that you want to exclude HVAC.
Note: You must only assign one event type tag to an event. If multiple event types are assigned, only the first tag will be used in Events2HVAC as the event type.
