The following time designators are used in Planning Center Resources event calendar:
Event Start Time
The date and time when the event starts.
Event End Time
The date and time when the event ends
Setup and Teardown
You can optionally add a setup and teardown period before and after the main event time in the calendar. If you have triggers setup to use the setup/teardown events, you can activate HVAC during these periods.
You can also add custom times in Planning Center, but these will be combined into one “main” event period when the event is processed.
Note: Make sure your setup start time is <= main event start time and teardown end time >= main event end time.
Also, make sure you keep the default names for “Setup” and “Teardown” otherwise, the event won’t include those periods.
Events2HVAC uses event triggers to initiate actions in the BAS/HVAC systems. These triggers are dictated by the start and stop times for each event.
The following table shows the correspondence between the
event calendar fields and Events2HVAC triggers:
Event Calendar Fields |
Events2HVAC Triggering Events |
Start |
Event Start, Event Setup End |
End |
Event End, Event Teardown Start |
