Events2HVAC uses event triggers to initiate actions in the BAS/HVAC systems. These triggers are dictated by the Series25 system’s event start and stop times. For each reservation, there are several event times that can be scheduled in Series25: reservation time, pre-event time, main event time, post event time. Event2HVAC can only use one of two blocks of time: reservation (booked) time and the main event time. Because of this, you must define which time blocks to use in the setup of the Series25 options.
Here’s how Series25 reservation time fields correspond to Events2HVAC triggers:
Series25 Fields |
Events2HVAC Triggering Events |
event_start_dt |
Event Start, Event Setup End |
event_end_dt |
Event End, Event Teardown Start |
reservation_start_dt |
Event Setup Start1 |
reservation_end_dt |
Event Teardown End1 |
pre_event_dt |
Event Setup Start2 |
post_event_dt |
Event Teardown End2 |
1Booked time = Series25 Reservation Time
2Booked time = Series25 Pre/Post Event Time
