To import event schedule information into the database, select Import Events from the Events menu.
Note: Only users with the roles [Administrator] or [Scheduler] can import events.
The Import Event Wizard will open. Click next to start.
Select the event CSV file to import.
Note: iCal import is a test feature and is not ready for production use.
Click next to import the data into the database. You’ll get the results of the import process including any events that failed to import. Verify that these rows in your CSV file have all of the required data.
Any failures shown in the results will not be imported into your events cache. You will need to inspect the data in your CSV files to determine why the rows did not import and re-import the corrected CSV again.
Warning: If you cancel the event import process before it is finished, the remaining events will not be loaded in the database. You’ll have to restart the import process to reload the rest of the events.
Click on the “Force Schedule Update” button if you want to tell Events2HVAC to refresh the equipment schedules now. If you don’t do this, the equipment schedules will not be updated until the next poll period.
Click Next to finish the wizard.
Click Finish to close.
