Import Rooms from CSV

This option allows you to import equipment room assignments (not the actual rooms themselves) from a CSV (comma separated value) file.

Choose Import Rooms from CSV from the Equipment menu, enter the name of the CSV file to import, and click the Import button.

Any existing equipment items that match the equipment name will be updated with the new information. Only room assignments are affected.

If an equipment item from the CSV file is not found, it will be created, and the actions will be empty. For this reason, extra care should be taken to avoid any errors in the data, typographical or otherwise.

Once imported, you can view the equipment items and rooms that were added and make changes as necessary.
