This section describes the procedure for setting up a dedicated operator account for Events2HVAC.
1. Open the Kantech Workstation.
2. Click the System tab – Operator Icon.
3. In the Operator – Login tab, fill in the name, login name and password fields. The name should indicate that this is not a human but a service connection coming from Events2HVAC.
4. In the Operator – Security tab, select appropriate Login schedule, Security level, and Workspace. You should not use the default permissions for Guard, Administrator, or Installer. See details on how to setup minimum security and workspace settings.
5. In the Operator – Web Parameters tab, check or uncheck the following as indicated:
a. Allow Login – check
b. Allow Message Filter Selection – (either – your option)
c. Concurrent Logins – uncheck
d. Connection Timeout on Idle – check, use 5 min. (See concurrent WebStation logins)
6. Save the operator and verify that you can login, read doors, lock and unlock doors in Events2HVAC.
