In preparation of the installation of Events2HVAC, the following items must be considered prior to the installation:
Connection Type:
•Direct SQL Connection (Recommended)
•EMS Web API Connection (Legacy)
•EMS Platform Service API
Building Codes
Make sure you have the "Building Code" field (in the EMS client|Configuration|Buildings) is filled in with a short name for each building. EMS allows this to be empty, but Events2HVAC uses this field for the building name. If this field is left empty, you will see "(Undefined Building)" as the building name.
