Prerequisite Steps – XBus/StrongMesh Network

Prior to installation of the Net/X device interface and Events2HVAC, you should already have setup and completed the following steps for your NetworkThermostat XBus or StrongMesh system:

1.  Installed, wired, and commissioned all thermostats on the network.

2.  Installed and setup your entire network using the Command Center software by NetworkThermostat.  Verify all thermostats are communicating and communications are reliable.

3.  Install and setup the NetX Port Sharing software on a server and re-map your NetX controllers in a new Command Center project file.  See NetX Port Sharing section of the user manual.

4.  If you have any stand-alone WIFI or IP thermostats (not UP32/RP32 models), follow the steps in the next section to make sure you can communication with them (See next section).  Make a list of any stand-alone WIFI or IP thermostats.  The IP address, ASCII port, and Thermostat name will need to be entered manually.

5.  If you are using NT-IPXB controllers, make sure the “Enable Login” is NOT checked for the ASCII Port.  You can find this in the web UI for the controller in the “Configuration”/”Network Setting” section.
