The Rooms tab allows you to assign defined rooms in the event system to the selected equipment item. Once assigned, any events that occur within the assigned rooms will cause the equipment to be scheduled.
To add rooms to an equipment item, simply select one or more rooms from the Available Rooms list on the right, and then click the left-arrow button. The selected rooms will appear in the list of Assigned Rooms on the left.
Note: Because it is possible to assign a room to multiple equipment items, after the above procedure, the selected rooms will still appear in the list of Available Rooms on the right.
To remove an assigned room from an equipment item, select the item in Assigned Rooms list on the left, and then click the right-arrow button. The item will disappear from the list.
Note: Once new rooms are added to Equipment items or existing rooms are removed and the equipment item is enabled, the next poll interval will generate the actions for events. You may want to force E2H to poll by using the Events -> Update Schedules instead of waiting for the next poll interval.
Searching
If you have a large number or rooms, you can quickly search for a room by entering a search term in the find panel above the available room list.
The search keyword will be highlighted with the found rooms.
You can also filter columns and group by column names.
