This tab defines the connection to the Series25 WebServices. The Series25 WebServices is a free component of the Series25 system and is installed separately if you are hosting Series25 on-premise. 25Live is hosted by CollegeNet so the web services should be available for your domain.
Series25 Web Service API URL
Enter the full URL of your Series25 WebServices instance. The URL should end with “r25.xml”
User Name
Enter the Series25 username to be used to read the data. Note: This username must be defined in the Series25 system and given the appropriate read permissions.
Password
Enter the password.
Test Button
After you have set up the parameters above, click the Test button to test if a connection can be made.
Timeout
Web service call timeout in milliseconds.
Timezone of Series25 server
Select the timezone where your Series25 server data resides. Normally this will be the same as your local timezone.
Note: Verify your scheduled events are in the correct time zone within Events2HVAC using the Event List to review the data.
Log web service responses checkbox
If you want to see the responses from the Series25 WebServices calls for troubleshooting purposes, check this box. A file name R25_response_{GUID}.xml will be created for each response from the Series25 web services. This should only be enabled on a temporary basis for troubleshooting.
Ignore Invalid Schedules
Checking this will ignore any schedules from R25 that have invalid start or end times. This can occasionally happen if schedules are coming from an external source and not entered directly in the R25/25Live client. E2H will ignore the entire event and notify users with a warning message.
If left unchecked, an invalid schedule will fail the entire R25 query and E2H will use its local backup schedule data to control HVAC until the schedule is re-entered correctly or until the event is finished.
