You’ll need prep the P2000 server before you attempt to connect using the interface.
1. Add the IP address of the Events2HVAC server to the list of External IPs in the P2000 system. See Adding External IPs section of the P2000 reference.
2. Verify the IP address and the XMLRPC port number on the P2000 server. You’ll need this info to properly build the URL to access the server. See XMLRPC Interface Port in the P2000 Reference.
3. Verify the Password Encoding scheme of the XMLRPC server. See Password Mode in the P2000 Reference.
4. Make sure inbound TCP traffic on the XMLRPC server port is not blocked at the P2000 server.
