What’s New in v1.3.2

New Features & Updates

Zone Action Triggers

Zone action triggers operate on aggregated schedule data, triggering at the start of the first event (or event setup) of the day and the end of the last event (or event teardown) of the day. Consider employing these triggers for equipment that should run all day without interruption or outside door lock control so that building is open during the actual occupied hours.

Action Object Report

Version 1.3.2 adds a new report which collates all the actions defined in the equipment list. At a glance, you can identify the equipment item, action type, event trigger, and the name and reference of the commanded object, for each action in your database.

Automatic re-sync after command failure

Previously, users had to re-sync equipment items manually in the event of a failed command. In version 1.3.2, Events2HVAC can automatically detect and re-issue failed commands after a user-defined delay, synchronizing actual and expected equipment states without any further user interaction.

Existing users must opt-in to enable this feature.

Comments

As always, before installing the new version, users should create a backup of their existing Events2HVAC database as well as export a current .EQP configuration file. However, Events2HVAC v1.3.2 includes updates to the Events2HVAC database schema, therefore this step is strongly recommended. In particular, for users currently at v1.1.X, once upgraded, the database will be incompatible with any version of Events2HVAC prior to v1.3.
